Synopsis
The Crane Wife is a modern take on an old Japanese wives tale of the same name. In this period piece, a lonley dress maker is surprised one night by an unsuspected visitor who asks him to make a promise he is not sure he can keep. A story of love, sacrifice, and so much more, The Crane Wife surely has a lesson for anybody.
