Synopsis

ESPN Classic's SportsCentury series continues its Emmy award-winning reputation for excellence by profiling one of the greatest athletes and most fascinating personalities in the game today. A 13-time all-star, Bonds is the only player in baseball history to amass 500 home runs and 500 steals. He holds the single season home run record of 73 and his pursuit of Hank Aaron's all-time career record of 755 dominates the sports headlines. Although his surge to glory has been clouded by controversy and relationships with teammates and the press have been strained, Bonds' historic achievements are undeniable. Now, for the first time on DVD, this riveting documentary allows you to go inside the dugout for a revealing look at Barry Bonds.
