El secreto de Alejandra is a Mexican telenovela created and produced by Jorge Lozano Soriano for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from December 1, 1997, to January 2, 1998. Created by Jorge Lozano Soriano, with adaptation by Lila Yolanda Andrade and Carlos Lozano Dana, the telenovela stars María Sorté and Leonardo Daniel. After discovering they are identical despite being unrelated, Alejandra convinces María to assume her identity so she can care for her young son.
